Enamelware

Whether you are relaxing, entertaining, reviving feelings of a time gone by, or adding to your country decor, enamelware rises to the occasion. It provides a decorative and durable alternative to everyday dinnerware and cookware. Dishwasher & oven safe. Enamelware should be handled carefully to protect from chipping. With proper handling your enamelware will provide you with years of enjoyment.

The differences in enamelware dishes & cookware are not immediately obvious when you look at it. Those differences, however, will determine how satisfied you are with your purchase next week, next month and next year. CGS International enamelware is designed to be used, not just for decoration. The edges of their enamelware mugs and bowls are properly finished so they don't get rough. The rims on their enamelware mixing bowls are made of stainless steel to minimizes chips. These are just two examples of the effort they make to provide a high quality enamelware line.

Some things to keep in mind about enamelware. The enamelware surface is applied by hand. Minor surface irregularities and unfinished edges are a normal result of the metalworking and enameling process. As with any kind of dinnerware, some scatching and dulling of the surface is likely to occur over time.

Enamelware Care Instructions:

  • Dishwasher & Oven Safe
  • Do not scrub with abrasive materials. Remove stains and burned-on grease with a soap-filled scouring pad or sponge.
  • Use sharp-edged metal utensils with care to prevent scratching.
  • Do not use enamelware in the microwave.
  • Do not allow enamelware to boil dry. It may damage the enamel surface.
  • If enamelware should be left empty on a hot burner or in a heated oven, switch off and allow to cool slightly before adding liquid.
  • Enamel on steel is hard and strong. But like all good ceramic materials, it will chip if handled too roughly.
With proper care this Enamelware should last for many years to come.
